This application is designed to measure the average speed of an arrow during its flight. It functions by detecting 2 distinct audio events: the sound of the arrow being released from the bow and the sound of the arrow striking a target or backstop.
The application calculates the time interval between these 2 detected sounds. To determine the arrow's speed, the user is needed to provide 2 distance measurements: the distance from the device running the application to the archer, and the distance from the archer to the target.
